About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are situated in the hills of western Sicily, near the commune of Gibellina, at an altitude of 450 m. Planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes undergo 15 days of skin maceration at a constant 26 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
To retain freshness and fruit character, 90% of the wine matures in stainless-steel tanks for six months, while the remaining 10% is aged in oak barrels.
