About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Campo di Pietra vineyards in the Piave River basin, southeast of Treviso. The potassium-rich “Caranto” soil consists of 30–35% clay, 20–25% silt and 45–50% sand. The vines are 18 years old on average.
Grapes
The blend comprises 60–70% Pinot Bianco and 20–30% Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification
Each variety is harvested separately. The grapes are gently pressed, and the juice is separated from the skins and pulp. Fermentation takes place with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C. The wine is blended before bottling.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with fish, white meat, risotto and shellfish.
