About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Pietra Campo vineyards are located in the Piave River basin, southeast of Treviso. The soils are rich in clay and humus, with a high potassium content.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration last 12–15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine matures for one year in small French oak barriques, then for several months in large oak vessels and at least one year in bottle.
Tasting profile
Elegant, delicate, balanced and expressive, with distinctive aromas and flavours that reflect the varietal character of both Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
