About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in Puglia.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand into 20 kg crates and taken to the winery, where they are destemmed and crushed. Maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures for one week. Fermentation runs at a controlled 20–24 °C for around 15–20 days, with frequent pumping over. After fermentation the wine is racked and undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 6 months.
