About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sangiovese is carefully selected and tended closely by the winery team throughout the year.

Vinification

The bunches are selected by hand and gently destemmed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by 25 days of skin contact to extract the wine's full range of aromas and flavours.

Ageing

The wine ages for 36 months in casks of 26.42 hl and 7.5 hl, made from French and Slavonian oak, which add depth and complexity.

Tasting profile

Elegant and distinctive, with a full, smooth structure. Bright and expressive, with juicy fruit balanced by lively freshness. It is approachable now and has more to offer with further time in bottle.

Vintage notes

2020 was a challenging vintage with marked natural contrasts. Patrizia worked with them to achieve a balance of juicy fruit and lively freshness.
