About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera fruit comes from vineyards on the hills of Mombaruzzo in the Asti region, at 180 m above sea level. The estate’s single vineyard covers 70 ha, of which 55 ha are planted with Barbera.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, gently pressed and macerated for 10–12 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for nine months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by several months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
Red roses are planted around the vineyard, and a rose appears on the winery’s emblem.
