About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow in the Magredi, on complex, dry alluvial soils carried down from the mountains by powerful streams and deposited at their foothills. The vineyard soils are rich in minerals, gravel and sand, contributing distinctive aromas to the grapes and wine.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late September. Maceration lasts 15–20 days at a controlled temperature of approximately 26–28 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures on its fine lees until spring.
