About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow in the Magredi area of Friuli Grave, on dry alluvial soils deposited at the foot of the mountains by powerful streams. The soils contain gravel and sand and contribute distinctive aromas to the grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of September and gently pressed. The must undergoes 24 hours of cold maceration, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures on its fine lees for about six months at 12 °C, developing greater aromatic complexity.
