About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the northern slopes of Mount Etna, at an altitude of 600 metres. The vines are between 40 and 80 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October, gently pressed and macerated on their skins for 18 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally.
Ageing
The wine ages for three months in lightly toasted French oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Refined, with an inviting aroma and palate.
