Planeta’s historical Syrah from Sicily is represented by Maroccoli Syrah IGT. The 2007 vintage has a bright, deep ruby colour and pronounced blackberry, plum and pepper aromas. Ripe fruit builds across a substantial palate, with velvety tannins surrounding a firm centre. Spice carries into a long finish. The 2007 bottling has 14.5% alcohol.
