About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in one of Podere della Bruciata’s highest vineyards, at around 550 m above sea level. The vines average 27 years of age and are planted at a density of 4,500 vines per hectare.

The grapes are harvested by hand at full phenolic ripeness, usually in October. Fermentation begins naturally in cement tanks without temperature control. The wine is bottled without filtration.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels, followed by a further 6–12 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
Annual production is 3,000 bottles.
