Tasting profile
Deep ruby red with violet reflections. Aromas of plum, cherry and forest berries are framed by the variety's characteristic violet note. Fresh and savoury on the palate, with good structure and a balanced, approachable character. Barbera's acidity gives the wine an agile flow and encourages another sip.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20 °C. Pair with pasta dressed with meat sauces, roasts, trippa alla fiorentina or Pecorino.
