About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Puglia. They are dried on the vine (appassimento), losing up to half their weight, which concentrates their sweetness and aromas.
Vinification
After drying on the vine, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented for a long period on the skins to extract as much flavour as possible.
Ageing
Several months in oak barrels, which add delicate spicy notes.
Tasting profile
Full and velvety, with ripe fruit flavours and a touch of spice. Balanced and smooth. Expressive and generous in the classic Puglian style.
