About this wine
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation lasts around 10 days in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22 °C, with daily pump-overs for gentle extraction of colour, aromas and varietal character. Malolactic fermentation follows alcoholic fermentation, softening the acidity.
Ageing
The wine rests for five months in stainless steel, followed by approximately one month in bottle. This preserves its bright fruit while softening and rounding the palate and bringing the structure into balance.
Tasting profile
Sangiovese contributes structure and freshness, while Primitivo gives a generous, sun-filled character. The wine is soft, rounded and expressive, with ripe fruit and a smooth, approachable texture.
