About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in an old vineyard in the coastal Torre Guaceto nature reserve, in the province of Brindisi. Rediscovered and restored in 1998, the vineyard has medium-depth clay and sandy soils over limestone subsoil.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September.
Ageing
The wine matures for 2–3 months in new, large oak barrels.
Tasting profile
The palate is soft, with lively fruit and berry notes.
