About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines are planted at a density of 5,700 per hectare and kept to low yields. Exceptionally ripe fruit contributes concentrated flavour.
Grapes
Two Merlot clones are used: R3 and 188.
Vinification
The wine undergoes a 20-day maceration and ferments with cultured yeasts at a controlled temperature of 26 °C. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Ageing
The wine matures for two years in 2,500-litre oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Concentrated, fleshy and refined, with an ambitious character.
