Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Piedmont.
Grapes
A blend led by Dolcetto together with native Piedmontese and international varieties. Altygo combines Dolcetto's fruit-led character with the elegance contributed by the other varieties.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested manually with selection, then crushed and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine macerates on the skins, with the must pumped over the cap daily, before refining.
Tasting profile
Deep red with purple nuances. Ripe-fruit aromas are integrated with elegant spicy notes. The palate is soft, harmonious and medium-bodied.
Serving and pairing
Pair with roast chicken, grilled vegetables, risotto, tortellini alla Bolognese or sliced beef. Cellar life is approximately five years.
