About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Cortese grapes grow on hills near Gavi, not far from the Ligurian Sea. The soils are rich in marl and fossils. This setting gives the wine pronounced mineral character alongside citrus, floral and characteristic bitter-almond notes.

Grapes

100% Cortese. The variety is traditionally associated with the Alessandria area, particularly the hills around Gavi.

Ageing

Refined in stainless-steel tanks.

Tasting profile

Citrus aromas are layered with floral undertones and prominent mineral sensations. The wine is balanced and well structured, with a long finish. Its broader profile combines zesty and floral notes with the characteristic suggestion of bitter almond.

Serving and pairing

Suitable as an aperitif and with sushi, grilled fish, shellfish, oysters, pasta, wildfowl and blue cheese. Cellar life is 2–3 years.
