Grapes
Dolcetto, a native variety of lower Piedmont. Although its fruit is naturally sweet, it produces a dry, fresh and easy-drinking wine.
Ageing
Refined in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Blueberry aromas lead into a fleshy, straightforward palate. Dry and balanced, with medium body.
Serving and pairing
Pair with cured meats, chicken, pigeon or fresh cheeses. Cellaring potential is 2–3 years.
Label / history
Anselmo takes its name from the first-born son of Aleramo and Adelasia, Marquises of Monferrato. He inherited the rights to the Monferrato territory whose boundaries had been established by his father.
