About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from 50-year-old vines. They are selected and sorted by hand at harvest.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then destemmed and crushed. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks with extended skin contact. During maceration the cap and must are mixed regularly, to extract as much aroma as possible and to give the wine structure.
Ageing
After vinification the wine is aged for a period in neutral stainless steel tanks, then filtered and bottled. The text gives no duration.
Tasting profile
Dry red with a well-built structure.
Vintage notes
The 2017 vintage received a bronze medal at the 2019 Decanter World Wine Awards.
