About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at 400 m above sea level.
Grapes
The blend comprises equal proportions of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from late September to mid-October. The must ferments with natural yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by 20 days of skin maceration and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 14–18 months in French oak barrels, followed by at least six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
The 2019 vintage is refined and “cool” in character, with the feel of a warm summer night and an expression of Tuscany’s complex, rich terroir.
