About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at 400 metres above sea level, which gives the wine a richer, more expressive character and flavour.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand from late September to mid-October, so that only the best berries are selected. The must ferments with natural yeasts on the skins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Ageing
The wine rests for 7 months in steel tanks, then a further 3 months in bottle in the winery's cellars.
Tasting profile
Vibrant, lively and bright, with a cheerful character. The style is Tuscan despite the Bordeaux varieties in the blend.
Vintage notes
The 2022 is expected to reach peak maturity between 2024 and 2028, its flavours continuing to develop.
