About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Bolgheri at 400 m above sea level, with a planting density of 6,940 vines/ha.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from late September to mid-October. The must ferments with local yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by 20 days of skin maceration and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for at least 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by a further six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
