About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie on steep slopes in southwestern Sicily, around Menfi, at 400 m above sea level. Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, they experience warm Sicilian sunshine and fresh sea breezes. The vines root deeply in porous volcanic soil containing high levels of ash and sulfur.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo traditional red-wine maceration and fermentation in neutral vessels.

Powerful yet elegant, with rich flavour and aroma and a pronounced mineral, Mediterranean character.
Label / history
The name Inycon comes from the ancient Greek name for Menfi, the municipality where the grapes are grown. A dedicated team of growers works together to preserve local traditions.
