About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Grillo grows in Settesoli's own vineyards in the commune of Menfi, in southwestern Sicily. The text describes Sicily's climate as classically Mediterranean, with consistent sunshine and moderate rainfall that prevent rot and mold on the grapes. Coastal breezes ease temperature swings and ventilate the vineyards, helping the grapes ripen well.
Vinification
Made by the traditional method for dry white wines, with fermentation in steel tanks under strict temperature control.
Tasting profile
Fresh and elegant, with notes of summer fruit and flowers on the nose and palate.
Label / history
The label shows swallows. The name refers to them too, since "rondine" is Italian for "swallow". The producers chose the image to convey the wine's light, summery and friendly character.
