About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from Settesoli’s own vineyards around Menfi in southwestern Sicily. The vineyards are surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, and the fruit ripens with consistent sunshine and fresh coastal breezes. Moderate rainfall helps limit rot and mould, while the breezes soften temperature fluctuations and ventilate the vineyards.

Vinification

Traditional vinification includes a slow, temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel vats.

Ageing

The wine is aged in oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Elegant, with rich flavour and aroma and a distinctly Mediterranean character.

Label / history

The name Inycon comes from the ancient Greek name for Menfi, the municipality where the grapes are grown.
