About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from hillside vineyards in the municipality of Gavi, at 250–300 metres above sea level. The soils are sandy limestone with some clay, and the vines are 15 years old on average.

Vinification

Selected grapes are harvested both by hand and mechanically during the first three weeks of September. After gentle pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature.

Ageing

The young wine rests on fine lees for at least four months and is bottled in late spring.

Tasting profile

The aroma is elegant and complex. The palate is fresh and rounded.
