About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie at an altitude of 360 m, with a planting density of 3,600–5,300 vines per hectare.
Grapes
The blend comprises 90% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of October. Maceration and fermentation take place in stainless-steel and cement tanks, with fermentation at a controlled temperature of 30 °C.
Ageing
The wine ages in first- and second-use French oak barrels.
