About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Montepulciano vineyard is planted on limestone soils at an altitude of 200 m.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October. Traditional vinification includes extended maceration on the skins.
Ageing
The wine ages partly in small oak barrels and partly in large oak barrels.
Label / history
Winemaker Alberto Serenelli helped to make the wine. His family has produced Rosso Conero from Montepulciano grapes for more than a century.
