About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown at elevations of 180–360 m in vineyards in the municipalities of Maiolati Spontini, Montecarotto, Poggio San Marcello and Rosora.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early autumn. Fermentation takes place at a controlled, constant temperature using the in bianco method.
Tasting profile
The nose has a rich apricot note. The palate is intense and persistent.
Serving and pairing
Pair with Southern European dishes, particularly seafood, tender poultry and summer appetisers.
Vintage notes
The 2015 growing season in Marche included the hottest summer of the preceding decade. The record heat would have caused drought had rain not arrived in August. Favourable harvest weather allowed intact bunches to be picked. The vintage shows excellent balance, rich colour and gentle acidity.
