About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes grow on slopes near the Adriatic coast.

The grapes are harvested by hand, gently pressed and macerated for 20 days. Alcoholic fermentation takes place for 18 days in cement and stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25–27 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests for four months in 226- and 500-litre stainless-steel tanks, followed by around two months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Elegant, with a soft, pleasant palate and a lingering finish.
Label / history
The name “Conero” derives from the Greek word “komaros”, meaning “strawberry”, a plant that once covered the surrounding hills.
