About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Barbera sourced from municipalities in the Langhe area. The vineyards have calcareous-clay soils and are trained on vertical trellises with Guyot pruning. Maximum yield is 10 tonnes per hectare. Grapes are harvested entirely by hand during the first half of October.
Grapes
100% Barbera.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 24–26°C with 3–6 days of skin contact. Malolactic fermentation is complete.
Ageing
The wine matures for 3–4 months in stainless steel before bottling.

Available vintage: 2022. Alcohol: 14.5% vol.
Tasting profile
Intense ruby red with purple hues. Blackberry, cherry and rose give a combined fruity and floral aromatic profile. The palate is medium-bodied, pleasantly acidic and notably easy to drink.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20°C. Intended for immediate enjoyment, it pairs with pasta dishes, savoury soups, mixed boiled meats, cold cuts and fairly fresh soft cheeses.
