About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the winery’s vineyards at an altitude of 280 m. The vines are 16 years old on average.
Grapes
The wine is made from Sangiovese Grosso.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small 15 kg baskets, then vinified in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28–30 °C for 20–25 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for four years in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least two years in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
