About this wine
Origin: hills near Negrar di Valpolicella, 280–450 m above sea level, with south-east and south-west exposures.
Grapes: 35% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella and 5% Molinara.
Vines: 5–50 years old; Pergola Veronese and Guyot, approximately 6,000 vines/ha.
Aging: 24 months — 30% in third-use 500 L tonneaux, 25% in third-use 225 L barriques and 45% in 25 hl barrels. Bottled after three years of aging and held for a further two months in bottle.
Production: approximately 40,000 bottles.
Serving temperature: 18–20°C.
