About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from organic vineyards in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. Yields do not exceed 140 quintals per hectare.

Grapes

Pecorino takes the leading role in the blend. It is the main white variety across Abruzzo and in Marche to the north. Passerina and Trebbiano complete the blend.

Vinification

Harvest takes place in the last ten days of September. The grapes are crushed and gently pressed. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 14–16 °C.

Ageing

The wine matures on fine lees in stainless steel for 1 month, then rests a further 1 month in bottle after bottling.

Tasting profile

Clean and fresh, an expression of its home terroir.

Serving and pairing

Best enjoyed young, within 2 years of bottling.
