About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from a 35-year-old vineyard. Production is limited to selected vintages.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the final ten days of December. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by approximately 60 days of maceration in concrete vats.
Ageing
The wine rests for 18 months in vats and then for a further two years in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Ripe berry notes shape the inviting aroma. The palate is rich and complex, with a structured, refined character.
Serving and pairing
Recommended pairings include Italian dishes, roast chicken, veal stew and cheese.
