About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Syrah is grown in Tuscany on vines aged 18–25 years.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected, then destemmed and gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Maceration lasts 10–15 days. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 26–28 °C for 15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for six months in French oak barrels, followed by at least six months of maturation in bottle.
Serving and pairing
Decant for one hour before serving.
