About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the producer's own vineyards in Chianti.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested only when they reach optimal ripeness, then gently pressed and macerated at the winery. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at a controlled 26–28 °C. After 10–15 days the must is separated from the sediment and moved to concrete tanks to complete fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barrels for at least 12 months.
