About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay grows in vineyards in the Salaparuta production area, at 450 metres above sea level. The plots face southeast. The soils are medium-textured and slightly calcareous, with plenty of pebbles.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested when they reach optimal ripeness. The must is vinified in stainless steel tanks for 18 days at 13–15 °C, a process that helps bring out intense, elegant aromas.
Ageing
After bottling, the wine rests for a time before release so that it can stabilise.
Label / history
"Luna" is a range built on the idea of making wines with a rich, nuanced character. The name refers to the Moon, whose supposed influence on planting, vineyard care, harvesting and storing grapes is part of the range's inspiration.
