About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in Veneto, in the northeast of the Italian Peninsula along the Adriatic coast, at elevations of 100–300 m. The area has fertile soils and a favourable climate.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and pressed directly. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The Charmat method is used, with secondary fermentation in stainless-steel autoclaves for four months.

Tasting profile

Elegant.

Label / history

The bottle depicts a vision of paradise inspired by Italian art, with vibrant colours, plants, animals and other details celebrating Valdo’s Italian roots and a world of harmony and freedom. New York designer Cesi Johnson painted the design entirely by hand in watercolour; it was then digitised with specialist scanners and applied to the bottle.
