About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the "Boscobruno" vineyard, at 380–440 m above sea level, on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the last third of September. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration are carried out in stainless steel tanks for 7–10 days at controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation follows in French oak barriques.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in second- and third-use French oak barrels, then rests a further 8–10 months in bottle in the winery's cellars.
