About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay grows in Castelnuovo Berardenga at 380–400 m above sea level, on clay-limestone soils with marl.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the last ten days of August. The grapes are destemmed, crushed and gently pressed. The must settles statically for one day in stainless steel tanks, then ferments at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests in bottle for 4–6 months.
Tasting profile
Fresh and light, with floral and fruity aromas.
