About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Castelnuovo Berardenga at 380–400 m above sea level, in clay-limestone soil containing marl.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the last ten days of August. The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then cryomacerated for 20 minutes and gently pressed. The must settles for one day in stainless steel tanks before fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests in bottle for 4–6 months.
Tasting profile
A fresh, easy-drinking rosé that shows the qualities typical of Pinot Noir.
