About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards extend across the Montello hills near Treviso. Northern Venice has a microclimate suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, while the vineyards have clay soils rich in iron and minerals.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at 30 °C for 10 days.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barrels for one year.
Label / history
The area has been associated with wine since ancient times and was mentioned by the chronicler Boniface in Historia Trevigiana. Count Piero Loredan, a direct descendant of the Venetian Doge Leonardo Loredan, founded the estate in the 1950s.
