About this wine

Vinification

The fruit is monitored as it ripens and harvested by hand, only when the berries are at their ripest. In 2023 the harvest took place in September. After careful sorting, the grapes are pressed gently in a pneumatic press. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels and lasts 2 months.

Ageing

Before release the wine ages a further five months in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.

Label / history

Agostino Vicentini inherited more than 14 hectares of vineyards from his father, Francesco, together with knowledge of the trade and experience gained over 40 years. The estate's vineyards lie on some of the best sites in the Soave region. Besides three dry red Valpolicella wines, it produces two styles of Soave white, each from a separate vineyard, and a sweet white Recioto di Soave.
