About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from estate vineyards near Greve in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. The vines are cultivated organically.

Grapes

The wine is made from a selection of Sangiovese grapes.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for eight days, followed by 12–18 days of maceration.

Ageing

The wine matures in cement tanks for 15 months, followed by a further three months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
