About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay vineyards are situated high on the opposite side of the valley from the Villa, in Castino. They have a south-eastern exposure and an average yield of 60 hL/ha.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in September and collected in 12 kg containers. After static settling, the must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at low temperature for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine remains in stainless-steel tanks for six months in contact with the fermentation lees.
