About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Falanghina comes from San Castrese at Sessa Aurunca in the province of Caserta. The volcanic soils have good phosphorus and potassium content. The vineyards were planted between 1980 and 1984 at a density of 4,500 vines per hectare. They are trained to simple Guyot with eight buds per plant and managed through low-impact integrated farming. Wine yield is 8,000 litres per hectare.
