About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from the individual Zuc vineyard, on a hilltop in Togliano. Maritime influence, the surrounding mountains and cold air arriving from the Balkans create a microclimate favourable to white grape varieties.

Vinification

The grapes ferment in stainless-steel tanks without maceration.

Ageing

The wine rests briefly in neutral vessels.

Tasting profile

Intensely fruity, with ripe aromas, a smooth texture and substantial structure. With time, it becomes juicier, more aromatic and more complex.

Label / history

“Zuc di Volpe” means “hilltop.” The range was first released in 1990 and is produced only in the best vintages from grapes grown in the Zuc vineyard.
