Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the individual Zuc vineyard. The wine is produced only in the best years.
Vinification
Harvest begins during the final ten days of September. Vinification and maceration take place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
When young, wines in the Zuc di Volpe range are red to dark red. With age, they develop richer ruby and deep burgundy tones, while their aromas and flavours also evolve.
Label / history
“Zuc di Volpe” means “hilltop.” The range was first released in 1990.
